Android 8.0 brought with it a pointer capture API for both phones/tablets and chromebooks. I would love to see support for this capture API to allow easier remote access to desktop host OSes.
Supporting pointer capture shouldn't be too difficult and would add a considerable amount of value to the Android client: https://developer.android.com/training/gestures/movement.html#pointer-capture
Right now I drop back to using moonlight for a lot of my remote desktop access just because of it's ability to use pointer capture from my tablet and chromebook.
