File transfer from Linux to Android SD card

I have two computers running Linux Mint 18.3 and Teamviewer 12.0.85001.  I also have a Hauwei tablet running Android 7.0 ad Teamviewer 13.0.8183 CL

I can copy files from the Android to the Linux computers OK.   I can copy from the Linux to the Android main storage OK

I cannot copy from the Linux computers to the Android SD card!
