INTERNAL_ERROR creating a session using android SDK

Hello
I am creating an android app using Cordova, I am using the following plugin (https://github.com/r-kitek/cordova-team-viewer) to create a team viewer session for support staff to view and access the app remotely. I followed all the documentation on https://integrate.teamviewer.com/en/develop/screen-sharing-sdk/android-tutorial/ page and generated the SDK Token and Configuration ID. But when I try to create the session using TVSessionFactory.createTVSession using my SDK Token it gives me an "INTERNAL_ERROR".
Other SDK methods like building the "TVSessionConfiguration" works completely fine.
The Android version on my device is 4.2.2 which is higher than the supported version by Android SDK.
