API: POST /api/v1/devices (add a new device) - new param: policy_id

Please add new parameter "policy_id" to:
POST /api/v1/devices (add a new device)

There is possibility to change it by:
PUT /api/v1/devices/<dID> (change device details)

But why so far API have not functionality to add new device with preset "policy_id" ?
