Digital Ocean Droplet and TeamViewer

We use a Digital Ocean Droplet, running Ubuntu 16.04.3.  From there, we are trying to use TeamViewer to access several other devices out in the field.

I've unpacked the file teamviewer_13.1.8286_amd64.tar.xz into a ~/teamviewer folder.  I've used ./tv-setup checklibs to check for dependencies, and then I run ./teamviewer.

TeamViewer launches, but then I get a status with a red dot saying "Not ready. Check your connection"

What do I need to adjust to get this to work ?

The same here. Perhaps, Digital Ocean is blocking teamviewer for security reasons? But not sure. I resorted to vnc. There is a nice guide how to set it up.
