I am using TV free latest version and several old versions before this one TV saved my partner ID so everytime I opened TM I clicked on my partner and just enter the password to connect.
Now after several updates my partner ID is no longer saved and every time I open TV I have to enter both my partner ID and password. I see my partner higlighted and on the right panel to choose how to connect (by password , etc...) and when I click by password I get error message sayin "Team Viewer is not running on your partner pc despite that my partner has it open and even send me a password so the only way to connect each time is to enter the full ID and password again and again.
I called support they told me that to be able to save partners ID to connect automatically is to purchase Team Viewer but I am not a business man I am a home usewr and only connect with my brother and a friend every now and then when needed so it would be a waste of money for me to buy a licence since the free version suffices except for the problem mentioned above.
Is there a way that I can save my partner ID to connect automatically using just the password on the free version or is there some shortcut or some way around that issue?
