Getting white screen when I log in to remote PC

Hello,

I use TeamViewer to help my 85-year old father with PC issues. We use Dell PCs running Win7. When I log on to his machine all I get is a white screen. The bar at the top has the name of his PC so I guess I'm logged on but I can't see the desktop.

My brother (Dell PC, Win7) can log on just fine. I've never had this issue in the past.

Note: We upgraded to TeamViewer12 thinking this might solve the problem. Same result. Thank you for your help.

I have the same issue.  The issue for me started after the latest Windows 10 upgrade.  I can access my 86 yr old fathers computer via my iPad, but my primary computer gives me a white screen once I am logged in.  My father says he can see the cursor move on his screen, but I can't see his screen at all.
