Use teamviewer just to view on LAN without teamviewerd?

Hi community!

I'm looking for a way to use Teamviewer without teamviewerd. I have a Linux notebook. All I need to do is to use Teamviewer to connect to a different machine on my LAN. I will never use Teamviewer to connect to the notebook or to connect anywhere from the notebook via a Teamviewer ID.

Is there a way to install and use Teamviewer just as a remote control client without anything else, espechially teamviewerd?
