How can I stop the sound from a remotely controlled laptop ?

I am running TV V14 console on a Windows 7 machine and connecting to a Win 10 laptop. Boith are for personal use and free versions.

On the remote desktop, I see that the speaker icon in the tray has an "x" in front of it. So, it is muted. If I go to the other room where this computer is, there really is no sound coming from speaker. But when I am on the console the sound is coming like as if it has not been muted. 

What can I do to stop this sound from playing ?
