Cannot see cursor on partner's screen

When i connect to a partner's computer, i can see my cursor but when the user of the other computer takes control and tries to show me something, i cannot see the cursor. What do I do to fix it? This happends on new installs too, i have changed the licensed machine to a new computer and it's the same issue.
