Why does "accept INCOMING LAN only" effecting outgoing ???

Options

Hello,

I like to set my teamviewer to "accept INCOMING LAN" only. But why does this effect outgoing connections?? When I try to reach someone outside??? This makes no sense to me!!!

    Hello @wKovacs

    Thank you for your message.

When you select Accept exclusively in your options, your TeamViewer client switches fully to the LAN mode.

This means, your connections do not use the public Internet but use your LAN network only.

This is why it also affects your outgoing connections.

If you want to make outgoing connections to external PCs and accept LAN connections as well, you need to select Accept as a setting.

I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to ask your questions here.

    Cheers

    Jean
