Free Version for student support

Hi All,

I was recomended TeamViewer Free version to support my daughter at college. She has a MacBook Air. So how to I remote access her laptop.

Do I install the team viewer software on her Macbook and create an account in her name? Do I need a seperate account. Can I access her laptop via webbrowser.

If teher is a simple quide, please point me in teh right direction.
