Cannot receive a connection
My dad was trying to help me find a file that he saved on my external harddrive yesterday (he left the state this morning) earlier this afternoon. I opened TeamViewer and had to search in the Help menu for my computer ID number, and when he tried to connect, he could not get through. When I opened the TeamViewer program, it only had a popup box asking for another computer's ID so that I could control it. I didn't see anything for my computer to be controlled by an outside source.
Can anyone tell me how to get the option to receive a connection back in TeamViewer 14.100.whatever?

Is your device running on Windows S?
For Windows S, you only can make outgoing connections.More information here: TeamViewer Lite - Windows S
If not, what is the exact version of the operating system of your device?
