Device not showing up in console
This is for personal / family use.
I have 2 macs: (1) Gio’s MacBook Air and (2) Gio's Mac Air Old. #1 is my primary and #2 is what I what to remotely control every now and then.
I've set #2 up and assigned my account.
I log in both #1 and #2. I can only see #1 but NOT # 2 in the console.
I can connect but I have to do it thru "Remote Control" menu in left sidebar. I used to be able to see it and do it thru "Computers and Contacts"
Help! Thanks

Problem solved.
Seems that Mac computer naming has nothing to do with Teamviewer naming.
I had to go to "Computers and Contacts", edit properties and change alias.
My mistake was I assumed that name assigned by Mac System is the same as what Team Viewer uses.
Lots to learn.
Thanks!

In order to connect form Computers and Contacts, first you have to add the remove computer to your Computers list. To add, go the Computers and Contacts tab and select the group to which you have to add and then select Add Computer form the options.
Now provide details of the remote computer and now you are all set.
P.S. Please have latest TV version installed in both the computersHave a good day!

Thank you for the help. I tried it. Unfortunately, it didn't solve it.
I'm getting an error: "This computer or contact is already in your list"
- It's definitely not in my list. That's precisely the reason for this issue report.
- I also notice that Team Viewer is labeling "This Computer" to my other computer when I am absolutely sure that this computer has a different assigned name.
See screenshots.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a configuration error I made?
Thanks.
