Time of clipboard sync

Hello,

at which time does the content of the Laptop get´s syncronized? Is it always synced or just when the Teamviewer Windows get´s active?

If it is always synced our technicans think it could be a security issue and have fear that copied Source Code or something else could get accidently be accessible for the other side.
