MAC not upgrading to TV 15

When trying to control my windows 10 pc from my Mac I got the message "Your partner uses a newer version of Teamviewer. Would you like to upgrade Teamviewer now to establish a connection".

Clicking Update on my Mac I got " You are up to date. TeamViewer 14.7.1965 is currently the newest version available"

Checking my Windows PC it is running TeamViewer 15.0.8397

So I manually reinstalled TeamViewer on my Mac and it now has the same version and now works.

My Mac is running Mojave 10.14.6.

I then tried it on my Son's Macbook Air which is running Catalina 10.15.1 and the same thing happened it would not update to the new version.

Just thought I should report this issue.
