Adding Trusted Device not working

I am having issues signing into the teamviewer client on both of my computers. Each time i try to log in it says that i need to add as a trusted device. So i go in and add the computer as trusted device and then try to sign in and I am asked to add as trusted device again. It seems that it doesn't register it truly as a trusted device? is there any way to fix this because currently the entire program is unusable for me.
