Hi all,

Yesterday, the NSA revealed that it has discovered a vulnerability (CVE-2020-0601) affecting Microsoft Windows®1 cryptographic functionality [see Microsoft note: https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/en-US/security-guidance/advisory/CVE-2020-0601].

The security industry considers the vulnerability to be critical, and so do we.

As a software industry leader, we started patching our corporate infrastructure as well as the software backbone, where TeamViewer runs immediately after the release.

We sincerely apologize for the limited availability you might experience during the maintenance works.

We will always give security top priority and invest heavily to ensure the best possible security for the connectivity solutions our users trust in.

Enjoy using TeamViewer safely, and do not forget to update your own environment. We strongly recommend patching asap.

Thanks for your understanding and best,

Esther
