Hi, I submitted my Reset Request on 5/24/22. It's been over 2 weeks now, well over the 7 business days indicated in the FAQ, and I still haven't heard anything from TeamViewer (Yes I've been checking my Spam folder too). Does anyone know how long it takes to reset?

The sad part is, you're not even half way through the wait. Scroll back through the pages and see all the people that have waited over a month with 0 updates.
Exactly! There's multiple people in this thread that have said they were forced to purchase a commercial license as they needed it so urgently, and I've known a few people myself! They don't give one single thought about you until they have what's in your wallet. And guess what, you'll likely just get flagged again for "commercial use" in the future after waiting an entire month for them to reset it the previous time.
You have to wait for them to respond to the current reset request before you can supply more IDs. It's absolutely maddening, right? Especially since it's going to take over a month to get a response.
I sent mine over 3 weeks ago on May 16th with absolutely no updates. Several people here have said they've been waiting over a month with no response...
It will likely take over a MONTH for them to even look at your reset request. You may want to switch to a less greedy company like **Third Party Product**.

Hi.
I was privately remote connecting to my home PC from my bed (I didn't want to get up to go to my PC) but after 2 minutes or so it disconnects saying "Commercial use detected/suspected". I am not using TeamViewer commercially and yet I am still blocked from connecting to my home PC... How do I get this block removed without having to wait the time limit to yet again be blocked again?

TeamViewer has been blocked due to suspicion of commercial use. I am trying to request removal of the ban through reset-management, but the request is not possible. If I am a Korean citizen, I cannot make a request because the Postal Code is always recognized invalid.

Hi all,
I see a lot of complaints that people all of a sudden get the "commercial use suspected" message and that connections are timed-out because of that, they all state that the reset page for this doesn not work but I see no usable answer anywhere. And nowadays it seems to be completely impossible to contact teamviewer as a free user.
Does anyone know a solution for this?

I used this link but unfortunately I gave a wrong ID.
But you may know that on this page ( https://www.teamviewer.com/en/reset-management/) it still shows only one sentence "Your request has already been submitted and is pending further review. Thank you for your patience as we process your request."
I want to resubmit the form but there is no other option that I can click to resubmit the form. What can I do now? Many thanks!

I only use Teamviewer to play games from my pc on my phone, but last week I started getting timed out, so I filled out the reset form, and waited about a week, for them to tell me my ID had been reset. so I connect to my pc, and about a minute later I get timed out again.... the email I got says if it didn't work, to submit the form again. however, when I go to the link, it forces me to log in and only says thanks for your submission and there is no way to resubmit another form to wait another week to get cleared. I just want to play Runescape from work on my phone please help!

So I was having the issue where TeamViewer flags me for commercial use so I submitted my request and forgot to include the remote devices id so that it can also be reset and now when I go to submit a new request it says that my request was submitted successfully but I have only submitted the original request and now I don't know how to send a new one

They emailed me today about it being reset, but I still cannot connect to my second PC due to this error. I cannot submit another reset request. I have 0 way to contact them. What the **bleep** am I supposed to do?

Recently I was notified when starting team viewer that I must purchase a license because I'm using team viewer for business purposes.
I'm only using to remote into my own devices and not for any business purposes.
I have several android based security cameras.
a couple of tablets
2 pc's
3 auto head units
Is there a way to certify than I not using TeamViewer for business?
I've been using TeamViewer years and have only recently ran into this.
any insight would be helpful.

Good evening, I have always respected the principle of the free license, my account is used only for my home PCs, my mobile phones and tablets and now for teamviewer suspicion, as your notice says, my account is limited without any mail or notification. how can i have back my account? and how it can be restored as it was before? I've been using Teamviewer free licence in the past with no issue. After almost 2 year of not using it I tried to connect today and first it says that my account have been in use for business purposes so I have to wait or buy a licence, and after that always get the following message but I haven't get connected once on this pc.
Please I need help or a email I could write about this issue

Hello,
I have been using TV for many years. I use it to help my family (as I am remote from them) and also to connect to my personal laptop from my work laptop to do things that should not be done on my work laptop.
Something changed today that has restricted my account, such that I get a message relating to commercial usage and my connection only lasts about a minute.
Only 2 days ago, I was able to connect to my sister's PC and help her with a techie problem. Now I cannot.
How can I get my access back please?

Why does this keeps popping out? I just use this with my phone to check un my computer when I'm not home, if I try to connect from another computer there is no problem.

I have used TeamViewer on free use basis for a number of years to support communications between my mother ( aged 90 ) and myself. It has proved invaluable in assisting her to sort out problems on her laptop which would otherwise be impossible. She has two laptops, one she uses and another older one as backup. I have an TeamViewer on three working machines and use it to support only one person.
I opened TeamViewer today and initially gained access to her laptop. On the second attempt it gave me a message about exceeding the licence usage. How can I correct this ? or why has this happened ?

I keep getting flagged as commercial use suspected. I use this to log into my elderly parents computers and help them, so I dont have to run over to their house all the time. Also if out of town to log into my home desk top from my lap top. This is the 2nd time in a week ive been flagged. I keep sending the request for reset, but keep having problems. Any help out there? I really think they might be doing this to force me to pay for a subscription.

Especially now, when they they try to go to **Third Party Product** sessions and they need help with audio settings.
I'd been using TV for years, non-commercially, and with the latest update, no joy.

Absolute nonsense. I have one TV account. The only originating computer is my laptop and, until yesterday, I only had 1 remote computer. Yesterday I installed TV on the 2nd remote computer, connected to that computer remotely from my laptop, and ran some updates. Today I connected to the original remote computer and poof - access limited due to commercial use being flagged. Neither computer is a work computer or used for anything other than remotely managing computers connected to my ham radio equipment. Everything was working fine until I added a 2nd remote computer to my account. Now I can't connect to the original remote computer for more than 5 minutes.

My account has been deactivated twice within the last two weeks. I use Team Viewer to access my media server in another part of the house and that is it. About two weeks ago my account was deactivated for suspected commercial use, I went to the reset page and submitted the form to have my account reactivated. Not only did it take almost 2 weeks for it to be processed and reactivated it, but later that day I had received the confirmation email I went to connect to my media server and all went well. The following day I went to remote in again, and I was met with the same message that my account had been deactivated for suspected commercial use.
This is just absolutely ridiculous, and all I can do is submit another stupid form. At this point I really don't care what happens with my account. I am just gonna switch to other program that will not give me this type of issue.

I just got the same thing, and now they've made another hoop to jump through as you cant contact support without a licence... Linus Tech Tips got it right when he called this company out for being scummy.

I was shocked to see the message "You are using Teamviewer in professional capacity", since at no point of time have I ever used Teamviewer in commercial or professional way. I tried to contact support by email but it came back saying that I should use this forum.
Does anybody know where I can send email or contact Teamviewer (free use) to let them know that I have been using Teamviewer only in non-commercial and non-professional manner?
