Smaller TV user interface

Since a couple of weeks, when I start the TV user interface, I get a smaller windows of the application. I can resize it and make it better, but the next time I restart the PC, the window is small again. This is not a show stopper and does not affect the program's functionality, but is certainly annoying (see pic.).

Any ideas why this is happening and how I can start the program and always have the bigger size window?

    After searching a bit more in this forum, it seems that the appearance I'm referring to is called the "Slim Mode." But I seem to get this mode every time I restart the PC and I then start TV. If I close TV and then restart it without restarting the PC, the window size I had selected before closing remains.
