Can't see remote desktop
Hello all, new to the forum so I'm not 100% sure where to go for this question. I use Team Viewer to remotely help my mom when she has problems on her computer. Be it settings or remembering how to catagorize family pictures. She is 88 years old and loves going through her pictures. Tonight I was trying to log on and help her with some stuff, I got logged in alright, and she said that I had control of the cursor (she saw it moving on her end) and she had her usual deskto screen. But on my end all I saw was this (see screen cap) Team Viewer has worked fine in the past, we've been using it for about 6 months maybe every week or two, but tonight all I had was a grey desktop, and menu bar. I was able to select tiems in the menu, although I could not see the drop down options.
Any Ideas? We are both using Mac Book Pros

Apple has introduced a security mechanism with macOS 10.14 (Mojave), which requires special access to be granted to remote control applications like TeamViewer. ?
It could be that one of the settings is not enabled yet on both macs. ?️♂️
Please follow the procedure of this article and apply it on your mac and on the mac of your mother: How to control a Mac running macOS 10.14 or higher
