Stop Teamviewer connecting to the internet on boot when using LAN only mode?
Hi There
I need to use Teamviewer for remote control in a LAN only environment (no internet).
It worked fine in trial mode (except for the session ending and thankyou for using notes). So I bought a license and added my devices.
Now when I first open Teamviewer (no internet enabled on either device) they both hang trying to connect to the server.
I have already enabled "accept" on LAN connections etc and am using the computer IPs.
The only way I hgave found to get round this is to deregister the software again (ie go back to trial mode) but I don't want sessions to end / messages etc.
Is there somewhere I can turn off the software's attempt to connect to the server?
Thanks in advance!

Did you tried in General setting menu the option to accept LAN excusively, not at both sides in order to connect within the Local Network by using IP Address?
Note that you must dissable the check for updates if you choose it I think the app will inform you about it.

Thanks Vatsilidis
Yes all good - turned off Check for Update son both devices (must have been that).
Both set to accept exclusively and all good!
Thanks!
