How do I contact Teamviwer directly?

I can't seem to find any way to contact Teamviewer directly with a support question. Even the 'create new ticket' button sent me first to the FAQs and then to the community support pages.

I am getting no replies to my question there so I want to contact them directly to get a 'horses mouth' answer.

Is there a contact phone number in the UK or an email address that actually gets read?

    Hi @coldwater

Have you tried the support line link for a direct call?

    Best regards

  • Thank you,

Yes, that's the page that invites you to submit a ticket..

But the ticket link takes you to a page with buttons for 'ticket to sales' or 'ticket to support'.

Then  all the 'ticket to support' does is invite you to search the community and then when it can't find anything it invites you to start a new community forum topic.

No way I can see to submit a real written ticket with screen shots etc.

There is a phone number but they won't be there now and anyway I'd rather get it in writing.

It depends on each country , but for sure there is a person to the telephone at the working hours and days.

Or if you like, you can post here your question to get feedback from us. Maybe your issue will already be solved before!

    Hi @coldwater ,

    Thank you for your post.

As @Vatsilidis said, you can ask your question here to see if we can help.

If the account is not linked to a valid TeamViewer license, the support portal will instead load the TeamViewer Community. Therefore, please read this article in order to create a support ticket.

    Kind regards,

I did post my question last thursday in this 'general' questions forum. The title is

    "Does TeamViwer_service.exe requently get updated?"

    so far no replies.

It's essentially asking if I can trust changes that my antivirus has detected having been made to TeamViwer_service.exe ie are these just updates or is it a hacker that has altered that .exe in order to gain access.

    Hi @coldwater

I am not a specialist to answer this question about how frequently the Teamviewer app is updated.

But I can tell you for sure that if you are afraid about some possible hacker change in the app that's in your computer, then I would strongly recommend you to follow these steps:

    • Make a full uninstall the Teamviewer app (see here how to do it).
    • Then reboot the machine.
    • Perform any available windows updates and update the antivirus database as well.
    • Run a full computer scan with your Antivirus (it could take some minutes to complete, depending of the file size in your computer). If it asks you to reboot after the scan, then do it.
    • If you see to the scan results that some virus detected, then after the virus removal you must follow again the same procedure (run again the computer full scan to verify that now is clean, reboot again if needed) until you are sure that your computer is virus-free.
    • Download the Teamviewer app again from the official TeamViewer website and install it as well. You can always trust the app dnownloaded from the oficial website.
    • If you complete all these steps and you see again that the app is updating every some minute, then in my personal opinion it must be normal to happening this. I have seen many times an Antivirus to identify as a suspect app, some apps that it was 100% clean and downloaded certified version from vendors like Mircosoft or other big ones.

I hope this helps. In another case, it would be helpful if you upload a screenshot of the antivirus message.

    Best regards

You came here to see TeamViewer's phone number, the real-time current wait on hold and a way to skip right through the phone lines to get right to a TeamViewer agent.

    Hi,

Thank you for your message. We're sorry to hear about your negative experience.

We aim to answer customer's calls asap, although due to the number of calls we receive, answering a phone may take some time.

You can reach out to them directly via local numbers and business hours found here

In this case, you can also create a support ticket.

We thank you for your patience.

    Kind Regards,
    Yuri

I thought that's what I might have to do.

Is it possible to move or copy your answer over to my other post as it is more appropriate that it appears under my original question instead of this one.
