Will not connect

 When trying to connect to the pc it says it is connecting but doesn't go any further. Is there anything that can be done without having access to the computer that I am trying to connect to?

    Did you try to open only file transfer instead remote control ?

    I have tried both remote control and file transfer nothing seems to work
