Windows 2000 Workstation Application/Desktop Sharing

Hey folks,

Due to COVID, my company has come across the need to simultaneously control an application running on Windows 2000 Professional (non server OS).

The critical application we need to share is unfortuntately bound to Win2K Pro.

From what I gather, the older version of TV which supports W2K is only accessible through purchase of an acutal license, which is fine.. but can someone in-the-know tell me if this will be possible?

Can we simultaneously control the same application, running on a Windows 2000 workstation, one user on the local machine, the other on a remote box?

Great product, hope to hear some news soon.

    Hello @bluphystyed,

Thank you for your message and welcome in the TeamViewer Community! ?

Yes, this is possible with a professional TeamViewer license, as long as you are using the TeamViewer version that is compatible with W2K, which is TeamViewer 8

You will find all the information you need in our Knowledge Base article here: Which operating systems are supported?

I hope this could help. ?

If not, do not hesitate to ask your questions here. ?

    Best,

    Jean
