Desktop greyed out

Hi Esther,

I'm connecting from a High Sierra Mac to my wife's machine which she just upgraded to Catalina. I've walked her through all the instructions about the new access settings but all I can see when I login to her computer is the menu bar at the top of the screen. Everything else is grey. I can control the mouse and click the menu items but can't see the dropdowns. Please see attached pic. My wife is currently thousands of miles away so I can't go and check it! I unchecked "remove desktop wallpaper" and now it's just completely black. Thanks

Which TeamViewer version is running on your device and which one is running on your wife´s device?
