Chromebook
I am trying to connect to my friends chromebook, he has downloaded the software but it doesnt show his id, he can connect to my windows laptop but my id is visible, does anybody have any help please?? this is quite an urgent matter.

Your friend has probably downloaded the remote control app.
Your friend has to download the TeamViewer QuickSupport or the TeamViewer Host to receive incoming connections.

He has uninstalled and re downloaded off the link you provided and still gets this

Sorry, but this is still the wrong application. This is the TeamViewer Remote Control app. This app only allows to do outgoing connections and this is also why there is no ID and password displayed.
He needs to install via the Google Play store the TeamViewer Host app:
