Whether the migration will not result in the loss of users, groups, devices?

We have been using Team Viewer in the organization since 2015 and have up to 500 computers are registered in the system!

We want to migrate from TV 11 Corporate version to TeamViewer Corporate subscription. We have configured TeamViewer 11 version settings for our needs (users, groups, devices etc.).

1. Question - whether the migration will not result in the loss of users, groups, devices?

2. Question - what need to do to migrate TV 11 configuration to Corporate subscription without loss of users, groups, devices?

3. Is there some manual that shows how to do it?

4. Will we be able to add more computers to the system in the future work, e.g. over 500?

    Hi @JurisErts,

Thank you for posting and welcome to TeamViewer Community! 🙌

    Firstly, let me answer directly:

    1. No, you are safe :) all your users, groups and devices are saved with your TeamViewer accounts.
    2. No, rest assured :) probably software version update would be necessary to take place. TeamViewer support team is happy to assist with any questions including license activation.
    3. Unfortunately there is no manual for migration. However, TeamViewer support team is here to help out!
    4. Yes, I believe TeamViewer sales team would be able to offer some solution on increasing managed device limits. If you simply talk about the devices to be saved under your TeamViewer account, it would be unlimited.

To sum up the response about subscription migration👇

    • License migration will happen within TeamViewer system at the backend
    • The biggest moves at your side would be TeamViewer software update to the latest version
    • TeamViewer support team will be available to check the license activation status for you too and ensure you are up and go

I really hope the explanation above would be helpful to you and feel free to comment if there is any uncertainty or more question we may help with.

    Have a wonderful day!☘

In the near future, we will purchash the product and then we will start solving technical issues.
