The problem is that nobody knows who read the form and when or which method do they use for decide if they unlock you or not.....
What they say one should check some days after sending the form if they unblock us or not.... Days? Weeks? Nobody knows....
Last Time I ask for reset I received a confirmation mail and this time I never received one. I wonder if the the miss of mail is normal.
Last time it's took 2 weeks for resetting.

Ich nutze Teamviewer seit Jahren privat, um meinem Vater mit seinem Laptop zu helfen. Nun auf einmal fliege ich nach kürzester zeit raus bzw. Teamviewer beendet sich automatisch und es kommt eine Meldung: Verbindung ist nach Timeout gesperrt. Es ist auch private Nutzung hinterlegt. Wie bekomme ich das weg, damit ich Teamviewer wieder normal nutzen kann und vorallem länger als nur en paar Minuten.

Bekommst du die Meldung auch nach einem Update beider Rechner auf TeamViewer 14?

i use tw since many years and previous versions on the same pc hp workstation on win7 pro
i've an issue since few days on the last v14 release.
when i try to lauch a presentation and wait for a distant connection invitation, i've a issue message under one minute time waiting.
in french :votre session teamviewer a dépassé le temps imparti et va se terminer"
i think the en translation must be like "your teamviewer session has run out of time and will end"
i've checking the advanced option: "active session timeout" and it's set on inactive. and this parameter doesn't change anything to my issue.

j'ai déjà éta débloqué le le 13/07/2018 pour le même problème (j'avais ouvert un ticket à l'époque on teamviewer aidait les personnes qui n'achetaient pas les licences, ce qui n'est plus le cas aujourd'hui)

j'ai recommandé teamviewer à des dizaines de personnes, quand on voit le résultat aujourd'hui, c'est décevant
pour l'instant, j'ai trouvé la solution [link removed per Community Guidelines] qui ne fait pas tant de défiance mais je préfère quand même mon teamviewer, j'espère alors que vous allez pouvoir me faire débloquer

En fait si par exemple tu as 3 appareils chez toi et tu ouvres 2 sessions en parallele depuis une machine vers les 2 autres (ou bien une rapidement apres avoir ferme la premiere, pouf t'as le warning).
i did the persnoal use verification, but still get no anwser and still cant use TV
@tonaz : what exactly do you mean by you having done the Personal User verification? If you just filled out the form and has sent it to TV, it's not immediate... you need to wait they process your demand, and hope your TV ID has been reset.

Now I'm getting "Commercial activity detected" instead of "suspected" (I still have the 1-minute limitation. I check every day hoping my ID activity is checked by a human and the ban lifted). I hope it's not due to the fact I posted here
Sigh, this software is so useful, truly the best. But can I, a single individual, afford to pay 335 euros yearly for recreational purposes? As much as it pains me, as much as I like this software and miss it, the answer is no. I wonder why TeamViewer is not offering a kind of "extended personal use" subscription, with all the limitations as they please to ensure the personal part of the deal, at a reasonnable price.
@bazbsg : I don't think that they're trimming old message, also many topics that users open are constantly merged into this one, I think it's indeed a display bug (you're 100% true that pages number is stuck at 50, but if you go back to the beginning you'll see original messages).
LE: I've juste realized the counter went over to 51 pages, do you see it as well?
@Alissa : I don't think that posting here would affect your TV use in any way, after all it's a community, right? The problem is that there used to be perpetual licenses even for old professional users, but they were terminated somewhere last year. You can find a 3rd party forum topic of a guy that recollects his story, but I cannot post the link to it as it's gonna be removed. So anyway, if the trend has shifted to annual payment (and way to expensive for personal users), there won't be any backtrack to it any time soon.
at least there is a "workaround" i've found.
you can always use the web interface. not as good as the app, but it does the basic stuff.

Unfortunately I got the same pop-up message.... I feel if you login to your account, you have the same problem, at least, it came to me.

it would be very interesting to understand how the heck they find out if you use it privately or commercially.... this makes absolutely nonsense to me.

I use it to connect to exactly 2 private computers, but whenever I connect I get a popup saying "We think teamviewer is used commercially by your or your connection partner and it's time to buy a license." Does this mean my account will get banned if I don't purchase a license?
i use tv only 3 or 4 times a year. pure private to help a older lady of 84 years.
