What is this? Why is there a ad on my 5-channel corporate Teamviewer account? This isabsolutely ridiculous. Spam the free users with ads, that's expected. Don't **bleep** off your paying customers.

This must be a joke, you ignore your users for years and not only the don't show me again doesn't work, you hide the opt out options in the account settings to make it more difficult to find but also make a "are u sure message" trying to fearmonger the people that tries to work with this tool after have paid for it. This is crazy!
still occurring on a daily basis....if i already have an active premium subscription why would I need this shown to me every.single.morning. The show in-product marketing messages option is unchecked. sort this out and stop ignoring it
AUD per year for a Premium license, and greeted with intrusive ads every morning, despite unticking the "Show in-product marketing messages" box. THis should be disabled by default for licensed users. Especially annoying as I had to spend time finding out where to disable it, and when finally found where to do so (from this forum thread) I realise that ticking that box does nothing at all. Still get an advert popup each and every single morning. Sort it out please or I'm not renewing this license :(
I cannot believe this. 4 years and the problem is still here... This is obviously intentional, I guess the real fix is moving into another software that appreciate their customers's time.

Why in 2022 as a paid subscription customer am I seeing ads for discounts (or ads at all!) for new subscribers only? There is no option to disable in app advertising any longer. This is ridiculous!
This unfortunately did not help for me, even remote computers with Host still cause me to get ads on my local machine with full licence. @TeamViewer What's going on here? This issue has been ongoing for 3 years with no resolution!!! How can you be nagging your customers with ads who are paying a massive amount of money every year (in my local currency it's almost R12000) and all options to opt out of these ads are broken. Please please please I'm tired of it, fix your nonsense instead of adding features nobody wants all the time
If the remote computer is using the full version of Teamviewer but has never logged in using a licensed account the LOCAL computer (with a valid license) will show that nag-screen. This never happens if the remote computer is using quicksupport och TeamviewerHost.
So, if both local and remote computers are using the full version the solution is to log into the remote computers Teamviewer and then logout. Now the local Teamviewer computer will stop the nagging - IF the Option is unchecked in local computers advanced settings.
I also have a paid subscription and I see ads CONSTANTLY. The options are "click the x" to make "this" ad go away "one time", or click "don't show me this ad again" to make "this" ad go away for good. Unfortunately, TeamViewer seems to be making new ads faster than I can click "don't show me this ad again" because I am perpetually shown new ads. I see a new ad almost every time I open TeamViewer. This is maddening.

You can disable ads from your TeamViewer application by disabling it within the Advanced TeamViewer options.
Please take the following steps: Extras --> Options --> Advanced --> Show advanced options --> under TeamViewer options un-tick the box for In-product marketing messages --> OK

Ho do we stop these permanently?
I choose "do not show this" every time, but another different one pops up next time. I pay for the product already and I will upgrade to features when I decide to, I do not want these pop ups.
Is there a way to stop them?

I am paying thousands per year for my corporate subscription, however I keep getting popups daily or multiple times a day. No matter how many times I click "Don't show this again" I keep getting the ads.
How do we make it so subscribers that are paying thousands of dollars do not continually get ads in their face.
It's daibolical that this isn't disabled by default - what company in their right mind would think PAYING end-users would want in-product marketing messages? AND WORSE, bury the opt-out waaaay down the bottom of the Advanced settings area.

The fix showen here is for the client, I would like to disable this for all my teammembers in the managment console.

This feels really scammy... This is a paid product, and not a cheap one. Why am I spammed with an add every time I open the app with no option to disable it!
Update: Even after I disabled ads as instructed by support (using the same method posted in the thread above) it is STILL displaying the same ad on my licensed business PC! I have clicked the "Don't show this message again" text many times. The ad usually pops up when I finish a remote support session for a customer but can also pop up when TV is idle.
I too am very unhappy with TeamViewer constantly showing me ads when I am trying to get work done using my paid license that I have had for many years. I keep clicking the "Don't show me this again" text but literally five minutes later it pops up the same ad on my licensed support PC.
I changed the setting described earlier in this thread to prevent all ads then contacted TeamViewer support in my country and told them how unhappy I was. The support agent told me "thanks for you feedback" in a tone that indicated he did not care at all and indicated I was wasting his time. The way he said it (especially "thanks") was the same way a child tells you thanks when they clearly don't mean it.
It is appalling that you treat long time business customers this way!

On version 15.13.6, using Paid License, started getting marketing ads again. I unchecked the "In-product marketing messages" option in a previous version. Now that option checked itself again and is greyed out, preventing me from unchecking it.
Edit: I was logged off for some unknown reason. Logging in solved it.
I seem to be having the same issue. PaidLicense and even when logged in and running as admin the option is greyed out - version 15.12.4
I am a paying licenced customer and can see the option to turn this off but it is greyed out any idea why?
Looks Like Teamviewer is from the same breed that the German company Wirecard that create a huge scam, i am a paid customer of version 11 when they charged one time payment and i was screw when they change to monthly subscription and make the product nearly unusable beacuse the free customer will install the last free version and i am not able to connect to them.
In regards of the in-opt ads check, i will never have it , i know, but the whole idea around that pop ups is nefarius, when you say "don show this again", is working as they planned, THIS is that particular promotion and the next one is a different one so... you have to click again on Do not show this again. and again and again, a good faith corporate mind can think to develop something like that?, no, i don't think so, the same one that think that is the one that do not set by default to not show ads and buried the check 4 menus down.

as announced before, the self-opt out for the in-product messages is now available for macOS for TeamViewer 15.10.
From our Change Log:
Licensed customers can now opt-out of in-product marketing messages. Important in-product messages like EULA updates will still be received.
