TeamViewer does not offer remote support and we certainly would not have locked you out of your computer.
TeamViewer GmbH is a company based in Germany, which develops a remote support tool. We would never make cold calls to private users unless they have contacted us in regards to the usability of our application (TeamViewer). Although TeamViewer is a commercial product, it may be used for free if it is used in a private, non-commercial context (for example, for helping friends or family members with computer problems).
