TeamViewer QuickSupport on iPad stops screen sharing after 60 seconds!

I have the current version of TeamViewer (v 15.5.3) on my iMac, and I installed the current version of TeamViewer QuickSupport on a friend's new iPad (7th generation, iOS 13). I have no trouble establishing screen sharing with his iPad, but after 60 seconds the screen sharing comes to an abrupt stop. In fact, at the beginning of each session, there's a message at the top saying that after 1 minute the broadcast will stop. However, it also says that screen sharing will continue, which it does not. How do I continue to screen share beyond that 1 minute? Also, what's the broadcast all about, its purpose? I don't remember the latter in the past when I used TeamViewer.
