Teamviewer not running on partner computer problem

Someone just installed and launched Teamviewer on their computer for me to access. Keep getting "Teamviewer not running on partner computer" when I try to connect. Saw a bunch of the same question on the Q&A but didn't see any answers or how I could view them. Can anyone help please?     This was a bug in a previous minor version. This bug should have been resolved by the updates we have shipped in the meantime. Can you confirm this?
