Google Authenticator after phone reset: no Teamviewer acces codes

The **bleep** thing about resetting your phone for a major Android upgrade / update, you lose all connections within Google Authenticator. Why? It should be related to your gmail-account.

So now Teamviewer does'nt appear anymore in Google Authenticator. But there isn't any recovery possible with your Teamviewer registered e-mail address, phone number or something else?

I don't have the backup recovery codes...

What to do now?

You will need to reach out to a Mod on the forum to have them walk you through deleting your account if you are not a paid customer. I will tag one, and I bet you'll hear from him in the next couple of days (because its a weekend).

I also suggest you try looking at an App called Authy instead of Google Authenticator. It backs up your keys and allows you to sync them accross multiple devices if you want too.
