Teamviewer 14 Beta 14.0.8346 not ready. Please check your connection

Something weird is going on. I had TV 13 installed and working fine. I installed TV 14 beta, now getting the error no connection.

I uninstalled TV 14 and reinstalled TV 13, and the connection works fine after re-install.

However I have installed TV 14 on my remote home system and will need to re install it there in order to connect as my laptop version is below the TV 14 Beta.

I am away for the next week and need to connect to this remote machine and cant reinstall TV 13 on windows without uninstalling  first (Tried via my Android phone and could connect on the same wifi connection) which means I cannot access this machine.

The remote machine is windows and my laptop is Mac OS Mojave.

Please help

Hello hamzamaal,

Thank you for your message.

I recommend you to restart the TeamViewer service.

-Execute "run", type "services.msc" and press OK

-Now find TeamViewer, and restart it by doing a right click.

Then, restart the TeamViewer application. It should work again.

I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Best regards

Re: Teamviewer 14 Beta 14.0.8346 not ready. Please check your connection

 Hello again,

Please delete the plist file of TeamViewer on your system.

You will find this file under:
Finder | Home directory | Library | Preferences. Here, delete all plist entries of TeamViewer.

Please also remove all entries starting with "com.TeamViewer" from
<home>\users\USERNAME\Libary\Preferences\

Then, install TeamViewer again.

Let me know if this could help.

Cheers

Re: Teamviewer 14 Beta 14.0.8346 not ready. Please check your connection

Hi Jean

I have deleted the following files as advise, resintalled the TV14 and restarted machine but still the same issue

rm com.teamviewer.TeamViewer.plist com.teamviewer.teamviewer.preferences.Machine.plist com.teamviewer.teamviewer.preferences.plist

I am trying to send the log but I think it is too long or has TV ids so not being accepted.

Hello robdupe,

Thank you for your message.

Did you try to restart the service, as I suggested to hamzamaal ?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Cheers

Yep,

Restarted the service. Cleared the hosts file out. pinged master1.teamviewer.com and get the same results as machines with TV14 which work fine. Checked proxy settings. Firewall seems to have exceptions for TV. All seem fine

Thanks Rob

Re: Teamviewer 14 Beta 14.0.8346 not ready. Please check your connection

I am also getting this across every single install of TV14 - multiple OS - MAc and Windows 10 - and everything from Windows defender to BitDefender. Nothing will make it connect.

If I completely remove TV and remove settings, then reinstall then it will work until the first reboot and then from that point I just get check your connection errors.

It's broken our entire support structure - beginning a roll back to v13.

I have the same issue. It will pop up the proxy setting window. Uninstall 14 and reinstall 13 will fix it. Proxy not supported?
