e-mail and password good but not user name?

I have a friend I help on her system but the issue is I can change the passcode but the user name is not correct? I can submit a "forgot password" and change it but I can not log in to her TeamViewer account. Any advise?. She only has the one e-mail address so I'm at a stopping point not being able to log in.
