Can't control android RCA tablet(android 7.0)

I need to control my friends tablet which is Android RCA tablet (OS 7.0).

I successfully connected and can see the screen and touches of my friend, but when I click on the screen, it only shows blue hand and nothing happend.

    Did you get anywhere with this? I have an Android 9 RCA tablet (RCT6613W23PU) I'm trying to support and facing the same issue.
