Remote printing preferences - do not want color!

I've been using TV for quite a while and have always been able to print B&W on my local printer (I would set the printer preferences on my local printer). However, since a recent update, even though my local printer shows 'draft' and 'grayscale' printing, it's still printing in color. I've searched and searched and cannot find how to fix this.
