Remote access passwords

There used to be 2 kinds of password for remote unnattended access to my Desktop.

1. The six character code that changed at every restart of that PC.

2 The main password used to access your TV account.

The second method no longer works for me. Why has this happened and is there any way I can gain access to my PC with TeamViewer Free once it has restarted ?

    Hi @cookaple,

    Thank you for your post and welcome to our community.

    You can set the personal password in place of the randomly generated temporary password to access a computer (unattended access). 

    Under Extras --> Options --> Security--> Under Personal password (for unattended access) --> Password --> Type in your password --> Confirm password  Repeat your chosen password to confirm it --> click OK
