How can I record a meeting when I am NOT the host?

How can I record a meeting when I am NOT the host? I have managed to record a session as a host, I just selected autorecord on the meetings menu but I cannot record a session as a client, (that is, when I am watching a meeting as opposed to hosting one). Can this be done and how? Thanks!
