Strange hotkey problem
Hi!
Been using Teamviewer from home office to access my office computer. For a while, whenever I hit 'í' button when using remote control, my HP office computer's system information pop-up shows immediately instead of typing the letter. This is really annoying and I think it is TeamViewer related since I asked my colleague to hit the same button in the office and it typed the letter properly. Regardless, I called HP customer service, but they were clueless - and so am I... 'Sending key combinations' (I'm not sure of the proper English translation) has always been disabled.
What do I do? :)
Thank you,
Balazs

Hi Balazs,
Sounds strange indeed.
Just guessing here but could you test the following:
- Activate ”Send key combination”
- Test what happens when type ”i” again
- Disable the setting again and check again the ”i”
What happens?

Dear Esther,
Thank you for you reply. It did not help. :(
I even restarted my office computer and Teamviewer, but nothing changed.
What's next? :)
Thank you,
Balazs

I am hoping for someone to jump into our conversation with a solution 🙌 Maybe someone else experienced the same too.
However - if you need quick help: you could reach out to our support team via ticket (link in the header menu under Service) and ask them.

I am hoping for that too, since I don't seem to be able to submit a ticket as a user of the free version of Teamviewer. :)
