I can select the status of my Account (Online, Busy, Away, Offline). But the status is not remembered during TV restarts (e.g. every time I reboot my PC is shown as Online again).
I want my machine to show up as Offline all the time (unless I specifically change the status).
Because I noticed that other people, which have my machine in their Contacts, can tell by the status that I am using my computer. I think they even get a notification if my machine comes online. (And yes they, immediately start pestering me, when they see I am at the computer).
I think this is a violation of privacy. Is there a way to always show up as offline?
