Shortcuts from MacBook Air to Windows PC

Hi,

When I'm remote from my MacBook Air to the office PC (Windows) the shortcuts as command+A, Command+C & Command+V are not working....?

Has somebody a clue how to fix and activate the shortcuts in general???
