Different versions compatibility

I failed to connect to lower version as my PC is version 15 while the remote PC is 12 as it shows up at error message “The remote is running an old version is out of date therefore can’t Connect”.

So I uninstall my Team-viewer 15 and install 12 instead.

But also failed to connect and got the same error message “The remote is running an old version is out of date therefore can’t Connect” Then another error message “reason unknown”.

I uninstalled the application and restarted my pc and reinstall it but still having same issues.

Please advice.

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community 😊

If you are a free user, you are supposed to use the latest TeamViewer version on both sides of the connection.

Therefore, I kindly ask you to update both devices to TeamViewer 15 and it should work afterwards.
