I am trying to connect over the lan to one of my computers but it is not connecting. On the manging computer I have the full version installed. Same on the remote. On the remote I have done the following
"Extras > Options > General > Network settings" and select "accept exclusively" for "Incoming LAN connections".
I get connecting to partner at the bottom of the screen, then a popup Could not connect to partner. No password request appears. Under extras, security I do have a password. The ip address i'm using is correct. On a 3rd computer, remote connection via ip works fine. The computer I'm attempting to I often use to remotely connect to the 3rd computer also without problems.
can a managing computer also be a remote computer? Running McAffee on all computers and I can get to shares on all my computers from any of the other computers.
