What is the current mouse and keyboard support for ipados and android?

I recently acquired an ipad pro 12.9 and since I am working remote l'y due to covid restrictions, I am considering using my Ipad to run teamviewer on my distant windows office computer. I tried using a usb mouse and noticed I couldn’t use the scroll wheel or the right click, and that some of the left click manoeuvers were painful. Is this related to my hardware? Are there some keyboards/mouse (perhaps the incredibly costly magic keyboard from apple) out there that could do the trick? And if there is none, are there plans from the dev team to implement those features in the future? I know this is kind of a niche problem, but it would be a great feature for an overall really useful software. I would love to be able to work just like on my windows computer from my ipad screen instead of my old laptop.
oh and i have another questions: is there a known trick to get a higher resolution than the one on the remote end ? Or do i need a 2k/4k monitor to be able to use the 2 732 x 2 048 pixels max resolution of the ipad pro? that would simply be awesome on teamviewer.
