All connections prompting for confirmation by conectee

Since the start of the week any time I try to connect to a partner using a password I not only have wait for them to allow me to connect, but then also have to request access to control the remote machine.
This was not an issue prior to Monday, we use TeamViewer in a support environment and I've never had this issue before. I'm at the latest version according to the application. I asked a colleague to connect to one of our in house test boxes using the same method I was being prompted with and they were able to connect without issue, so it's not an issue with the other end.
Is there some setting that may have been changed by the last update that would cause this?
