Identifying Non-Corp Installations

Hello! Is there a way that I can identify a difference between a licensed copy of TeamViewer and a non-licensed copy of TeamViewer installed in our environment? With TeamViewer deployed, I want to make sure that people are not downloading TV from the TV site and downloading it, rather, using our corporate version which is security by Policy? My fear is that someone could simply download and install TeamViewer on their computer instead of using ours which has Policy restrictions.

I know the version of our TeamViewer states "15.14.3 C" which I believe the C means Corporate but the C does not show up in Programs and Features.

In case anyone is ever looking for the answer to this question, it is possible to check the assignment from a registry key.

This registry key will reflect the owning account name - OwningManagerAccountName

This is in local machine and you can use a Get-ItemProperty PowerShell command to retrieve the information.

(Get-ItemProperty -Path HKLM:\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TeamViewer -Name OwningManagerAccountName).OwningManagerAccountName
