The box on the "Show Comment Window After Each Session" is greyed out with the check mark in place. How do I remove the check mark when the box is greyed out?

The "Log sessions for connection reporting" is also greyed out & I can't check or un-check that one either. Any other suggestions?
Maybe an uninstallation with deleting the settings and reinstallation will help:
