Can't control device which previously worked.

I installed quick support on a Xiaomi Redmi device one week before and TeamViewer on a OnePlus device. The devices were on the same wifi. Back then I tested it and worked fine.

Now I tried to remote control the device. I was able to connect and see the remote screen but I couldn't control it. The only difference is that they are far away from each other and not on the same wifi.

What could be the problem?
